Full job descriptionReceptionist / Administrator
Watford, Herts.
Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm.
Joining a Global Fashion House at their UK Head Office in Watford, Herts.
A busy and varied role with no two days the same, an ideal role for you if you have first class organisational, communication skills and have a professional and can do manner.
Main Responsibilities Include
*Opening the office in mornings
*Front of house cover answering phone/email queries and welcoming visitors
*Ordering of lunches / meeting food and serving when needed
*Trips to the shops to buy meeting food and office provisions (Tesco, M&S, Costco)
*Logging an unpacking of all incoming post
*Sending outbound post through online portals in a timely and cost-efficient manner
*Taking ownership and resolving any consignment issues
*Booking of some UK & European travel – taxi’s, hotels and flights along with international travel bookings for Business Heads
*Managing Pool car diary inclusive of minor repairs, monthly tyre tread and pressure checks, cleaning
*Facilities management at the office to include:
*Fire Alarm tests
*Troubleshooting equipment issues (eg coffee machines, Zip taps, photocopies etc), logging calls with maintenance companies where necessary
*Booking Maintenance visits for office equipment
*Ordering and logging of office supplies and customised stationery
*Ensuring cost comparisons and audit trails are maintained
*Ensuring the kitchens are stocked with milk, tea, coffee and meeting snacks/drinks etc
*Supporting the HR & Facilities Teams with Ad-hoc tasks and staff engagement activities
*Supporting with the Managing Directors diary
