Job Description:
Full job descriptionOur client, an accountancy practice based in Lowestoft, is excited to announce that they are looking for an Assistant Accounts Clerk to join their team.
This is an excellent long-term opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a supportive practice, with a clear progression path towards managing their own client portfolio within 2–3 years and potential advancement to management level thereafter.
Key Requirements
• Experience working within an accountancy practice
• Experience preparing annual financial statements
• Experience calculating tax liabilities for both companies and individuals
• Ability to liaise effectively with clients, HMRC, and Companies House
Desirable Skills
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Preparation of CIS returns
• Preparation of personal tax returns
• Strong telephone manner when speaking with clients, HMRC, and Companies House.
