As a Business Studies Teacher, you will deliver engaging and relevant lessons that develop student’s knowledge of business concepts, real-world case studies, and commercial awareness. You will help learners understand how businesses operate in a dynamic and global economy.
Key Responsibilities
*Plan and deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons in line with the national curriculum
*Teach topics such as marketing, finance, operations, human resources, and entrepreneurship
*Support GCSE and A-Level Business Studies / BTEC Business qualifications
*Assess, track, and report on student progress
*Use real-world examples and case studies to enhance learning
*Contribute to curriculum development within the department
*Support enrichment activities such as enterprise projects or business competitions
About You
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Degree in Business Studies, Economics, Finance, or related subject
*Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for business education
*Ability to make lessons engaging and relevant to real-world contexts
*Good classroom management and communication skills
*Commitment to safeguarding and student well being
*Willingness to contribute to wider school and sixth form life
