Full job descriptionSupply Teacher – Daventry & Rugby
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and experienced qualified teacher to join our team of supply staff, supporting a range of welcoming primary schools across Daventry and Rugby.
This role involves providing cover for staff absence, sickness, and training courses across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. We are looking for a dedicated professional who can quickly build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and deliver engaging lessons that support pupils’ learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:*Deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum
*Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
*Follow lesson plans provided by the school to ensure continuity of learning
*Identify pupils who may benefit from additional support or small-group interventions
*Establish clear routines and expectations within the classroom
*Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff
*Maintain high standards of behaviour and pupil engagement
We Are Looking For Someone Who:*Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Has experience teaching within a primary school setting
*Is flexible, reliable, and adaptable
*Can confidently teach across KS1 and KS2
*Has excellent classroom management skills
*Is passionate about supporting children’s educational progress and wellbeing
