We are currently seeking a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Worthing. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.

The Role
*Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN.
*Assisting children in accessing classroom activities and the wider curriculum.
*Supporting pupils with communication, social, emotional, and learning needs.
*Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual support plans.
*Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive engagement in learning.
*Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
*Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
*Experience working with children, ideally within a school or SEN setting.
*A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
*A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
*A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards learning and development.
Desirable Experience
*Experience supporting children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, or other additional learning needs.
*Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Care Worker, Nursery Practitioner, or Youth Worker.
*Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN support.
