This is a great opportunity for an Estimator join a growing residential contractor that specialises in high-quality domestic projects, where you come in and be a key part in the businesses growth by taking control of the estimating function within a great working environment.

This growing business delivers wide range of domestic refurbishment, extension and new build projects across Hertfordshire, who have built a strong reputation over the years. Having built an excellent reputation over many years, the company has reached a stage where further growth requires additional commercial support. This creates an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a stable business and become a key figure within a smaller team.

You’ll be responsible for producing accurate estimates from detailed drawings, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors, preparing bills of quantities and tender enquiries, and monitoring project costs and margins. Working directly alongside the Director, you’ll take ownership of projects from enquiry through to handover whilst helping improve processes as the business continues to expand.

Therefore, the ideal candidate will be an experienced Estimator with residential or domestic experience who has a self-sufficient and personable approach to be able to build strong relationships with both clients and suppliers.

The Role:
*Produce accurate estimates for domestic refurbishments, extensions and new build projects from detailed drawings
*Produce and manage bills of quantities and tender enquiries
*Work closely with the Director to support the continued growth of the business
*Based out of their office in Letchworth, with sites within Hertfordshire
The Person:
*Estimator with experience working on domestic or residential construction
*Ability to price projects individually
*Personable, approachable and self-sufficient approach
*Commutable distance to their office in Letchworth
