A highly regarded Legal 500 law firm in Tamworth is seeking an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join its award-winning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, timely, and commercially astute legal services to a diverse portfolio of clients, while contributing to the continued growth and success of the department.
Key Responsibilities
*Advising clients on Wills and Estate Planning, including lifetime tax planning strategies.
*Managing the administration of estates, including post-death inheritance tax planning.
*Handling Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters.
*Advising on the creation, management, and administration of Trusts.
*Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Wills, Trusts, and Probate law, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
*Proactively cross-selling services across the firm.
*Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and introducers to enhance the firm’s client base.
*Collaborating with the wider Private Client team and contributing to
Person Specification
Qualifications & Experience
*Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with 2–4 years’ PQE in Private Client work.
*Broad experience in estate planning, Wills, probate, and trust administration.
*Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Knowledge & Skills
*Strong understanding of clients’ personal and financial needs.
*Commercial awareness with a client-focused approach.
*Excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
*Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
*High attention to detail and accuracy.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
*Proficiency in legal case management systems and Microsoft Office.
