Full job descriptionWe are partnering with a luxury retail brand to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team in the City of London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified finance professional looking to develop their management accounting experience within a fast-paced and growing business.


Key Duties:
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Supporting month-end processes, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Producing analysis and reports for key stakeholders
- Supporting VAT returns, audits, and statutory requirements
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider finance function

Core Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience in an Assistant Management Accountant, Assistant Accountant, or similar finance role
- Experience within retail, fashion, luxury goods, e-commerce, or a fast-paced commercial environment
- Studying towards ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualifications
- Strong understanding of month-end processes and reconciliations
- Good Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively within a team
