A well-regarded secondary school in the Greenwich area is seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join its Modern Foreign Languages department from September.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. The successful applicant will join a supportive and forward-thinking team committed to delivering high-quality language education and fostering a love of Spanish language and culture.
Start Date: September
Location: Greenwich, South East London
Contract Type: Full-time, permanent (or long-term supply considered)
Key Responsibilities*Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons across KS3-KS4 (KS5 desirable)
*Assess, track, and report on student progress in line with school policies
*Develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in Spanish
*Contribute to curriculum development within the MFL department
*Support a positive learning environment that promotes high achievement and inclusivity
The Ideal Candidate Will Have*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
*Strong subject knowledge in Spanish and confidence teaching grammar and communication skills
*Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level (ECTs are welcome to apply)
*A commitment to raising attainment and inspiring a love of languages
*Excellent classroom management and communication skills
