People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Production Operative – Wavertree, Liverpool to join our well-established client based in Wavertree, Liverpool.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Factory Operative, Machine Operative, Assembly Operative or Production Technician.
Shifts
• Monday to Thursday: 07:45 – 17:00
• Friday: 08:00 – 12:30
Rates of Pay
• £14.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Production Operative, your duties will include:
• Assisting with the operation and basic maintenance of production lines to ensure smooth and efficient processes
• Reading, understanding and following detailed work instructions to maintain quality and consistency
• Monitoring and inspecting products throughout the production process to ensure quality standards are met
• Adjusting, calibrating and changing tooling on packaging or processing lines
• Identifying and reporting production line issues and assisting with basic troubleshooting
• Performing routine quality inspections and completing relevant documentation
• Carrying out regular cleaning, lubrication and safety checks on machinery and equipment
• Following all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Essential Skills
• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving materials
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow work instructions accurately
• A team-focused approach with the ability to work collaboratively to meet production targets
• Mechanical aptitude and confidence working with production machinery
Desirable Experience
• Previous experience working as a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Factory Operative, Machine Operative or Assembly Operative
• Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment
• Availability to start work as soon as possible
Training Provided
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
