Full job descriptionClockwork Education have been approached by a lovely, welcoming school in Bishop Auckland to assist then in finding a School Caretaker ASAP. The school ideally would like to meet and training someone up before the start of the school holidays - when the role will officially begin.
The ideal candidate will be willing to work split shifts to open the premises on a morning and then return on an evening to lock up.
Responsibilities
*Responsible key holder - opening and closing premises, monitoring the property
*Carrying out minor repairs and maintaining premises to ensure safety
*Managing outdoor areas and general upkeep of grounds
*To use own initiative and take the lead
Requirements
*Experience in building maintenance / cleaning / plumbing / gardening
*Confident in working alone
*Provide 2 employment or educational references
*To hold or put in process an enhanced DBS disclosure
