Our client is a prominent firm of Chartered Accountants with a strong regional presence and an impressive portfolio of clients spanning a wide range of sectors. As an Audit Senior, you will play a central role in the delivery of high-quality audit engagements, managing your own portfolio of clients from planning through to completion. You will work closely with partners and managers, gaining exposure to complex and varied assignments that will genuinely stretch your technical skills and commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities*Leading and managing a portfolio of audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met
*Supervising and mentoring more junior members of the audit team, reviewing their work and supporting their professional development
*Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process
*Preparing and reviewing audit files, statutory accounts, and related documentation in line with relevant standards and firm procedures
*Liaising with partners and managers to report findings, raise issues, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of audit methodology
Requirements*Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
*ACA or ACCA qualified, or at an advanced stage of qualification
*Proven experience leading audit assignments and managing client relationships
*Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
*Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
