Contract: Temporary (Ad hoc - work offered as and when required)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 4:30pm, Friday 8:30am - 1:30pm
Location: Warwick
Salary: £12.71 per hour + £1.53 holiday pay per hour
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Receptionist to join our client, a well-established organisation based in Warwick. This is a flexible, ad hoc temporary position, where our client requests support to cover busy periods, annual leave and unplanned absences. This could be for individual days, a few days in a week, or occasional longer bookings, making it ideal for someone looking for flexible work around other commitments.
The successful candidate will be a friendly, professional and reliable individual, supporting the business across reception and hosting duties, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for visitors and staff alike.
Duties include:
*Meeting and greeting visitors, providing a professional first impression
*Answering and directing incoming calls
*Preparing meeting rooms and ensuring they are ready for use
*Providing refreshments for meetings when required
*Sending and receiving parcels and liaising with couriers
*Keeping meeting areas tidy and reporting any issues
*Supporting general administrative tasks
*Working closely with the other host to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
*Rotating between reception and meeting room hosting responsibilities
Skills and experience required:
*Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably Reception or Front of House
*Professional, friendly and approachable manner
*Excellent communication skills
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Organised with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
*Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs
*Ability to work discreetly and maintain confidentiality
*Well-presented with a positive, can-do attitude
*Strong time management skills
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
