Job Description:
Full job descriptionSharp Consultancy is supporting a PLC business in Leeds to recruit a Finance Administrator on a temporary basis for 6-8 weeks.
Reporting to the Finance Manager you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with reporting and reconciliations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and a keen interest in finance to develop within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Processing purchase invoices and ensuring accurate coding and posting
*Assisting with sales invoicing and credit control activities
*Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
*Supporting bank reconciliations and cash allocation
*Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
*Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
*Handling internal and external finance queries
*Supporting audits and compliance activities
*General finance administration duties as required
Key Skills & Experience
*Previous experience in a finance or accounts administration role
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and finance systems
*Excellent organisational and time management skills
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*A proactive and positive attitude
*Experience in a fast-paced or multi-entity environment
What’s on offer
*£27,000 - £28,000 (hourly rate equivalent) dependent on experience
*Hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days from home)
*Leeds City Centre location
