Our client is looking for someone at the start of their career who’s keen to build a future in freight and logistics. No industry experience is needed — everything will be taught from day one.
You’ll join a busy operations team, getting hands-on with the day-to-day movement of shipments. Over time, you’ll build a solid foundation across the full freight cycle.
What you’ll be doing
*Booking and tracking shipments using an internal operating system
*Communicating with customers and overseas partners via phone and email
*Preparing customer quotations
*Coordinating deliveries through both an in-house transport network and external providers
*Supporting the wider team with general operational and admin tasks
*Building your knowledge of how global freight and logistics works

*Comfortable using Outlook and writing professional emails
*A competent typist with good attention to detail
*Familiar with Excel basics and confident researching online
*A strong communicator — both written and on the phone

*Genuinely interested in building a long-term career in freight
