Full job descriptionA friendly and welcoming school in Bath is looking for a number of teaching assistants that can work across all year groups to join them ASAP on an ongoing basis. The school is equipped with fantastic facilities, is well connected via public transport and has good car parking facilities.
The school is committed to preparing all of their pupils for adult life through setting high expectations of their pupils and establishing firm boundaries. The school is committed to the success of each of their students whatever their stage of education in order to instil them with a sense of achievement at all stages.
The role is to support pupils who may have additinola needs and need support with accessing the curriculum. Your main duties will include: carrying out interventions including phonics, supporting children on a 1:1 basis, covering lunch time duties and supporting the class teacher with delivering lessons and setting up the early years provision areas.
We are particulalry keen to hear from you, if you have experience within youth work or other child-related experience.
The successful candidate will have:
*Passion for working with children,
*Previous experience of working with children is desirable but not essential,
*Be passionate and enthusiastic to work with children across EYFS, key stage 1 and key stage 2,
*Will be proactive and eager to carry out responsibilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
