Full job descriptionVenn Group are recruiting for two Associate Business Partners on behalf of a London Borough Council. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with public sector experience to join a busy finance team supporting key service areas during a period of organisational change.
Position: Associate Business Partner
Location: East London (1-2 days per week onsite)
Rate: £450 per day
Contract: Interim
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
*Provide financial management support and business partnering services to operational managers
*Support budget setting, forecasting and financial monitoring processes
*Deliver accurate financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making
*Advise non-finance stakeholders on financial matters and help drive financial accountability
*Contribute to service improvement and financial planning activities
Requirements
*Extensive accountancy experience, ideally within local government, the public sector or a large complex organisation
*Experience providing financial management and business partnering support
*Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders
*Part-qualified CCAB accountant or AAT qualified with significant relevant experience
