With over 65 years of impact, HACT sits at the heart of the sector - driving collaboration, innovation and social value to support better outcomes for residents.
As we move into our next phase of growth, we are seeking to appoint three new Trustees to strengthen our Board and support HACT’s continued evolution.
About the opportunity
As a Trustee, you will play a critical role in shaping HACT’s future direction and impact across the social housing sector. You will provide strategic leadership, independent oversight and constructive challenge, while championing HACT’s mission and values.
This is an opportunity to contribute at board level to an organisation that is driving innovation in areas including social value, digital insight platforms and sector-wide collaboration.
What we are looking for

*Senior leadership or board-level experience within housing
*Ability to contribute to organisational positioning, growth and long-term impact
Digital / SaaS / Technology
*Experience with digital products, platforms or SaaS environments
*Insight into how data, technology and innovation can drive sector transformation
These priority skills align with HACT’s ambition to strengthen its work across digital innovation, asset insight and sector strategy.
About the role
All Trustees share collective responsibility for:
*Setting HACT’s strategic direction and ensuring long-term sustainability
*Providing oversight and constructive challenge to the executive team
*Ensuring strong governance, financial oversight and risk management
*Championing equity, diversity and inclusion across all aspects of HACT’s work
You will also act as an ambassador for HACT, contributing your expertise to support the organisation’s growth and impact.
Who we would love to hear from
Alongside the above skillsets, we are seeking individuals who demonstrate:
*A strong commitment to the social housing sector and HACT’s mission
*Strategic thinking and sound judgement
*Independence of mind and the ability to challenge constructively
*A genuine commitment to collaboration, innovation and social impact
