I am recruiting for an experienced Interim Finance Business Partner to support strategic and operational decision-making across the organisation. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between finance and wider business functions, delivering insightful financial analysis, driving performance, and supporting senior stakeholders during a period of change or transformation.




Key Responsibilities:
*Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight, challenge assumptions, and support strategic decision-making
*Produce robust financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis to drive business performance
*Deliver clear and actionable management reporting, highlighting risks and opportunities
*Support cost control initiatives and identify efficiency improvements across departments
*Build strong relationships with operational teams to improve financial understanding and accountability
*Contribute to business planning cycles, including scenario modelling and longer-term strategic planning
*Assist with month-end processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial information
*Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support key projects, investments, and change initiatives
*Ensure compliance with financial controls, governance, and company policies
*Collaborate with other finance colleagues to drive continuous improvement in processes and reporting
Additional Details:
*Hybrid working model with a Birmingham base
*Must be fully qualified - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
*Travel required twice monthly to Liverpool and/or Nottingham
*Interim assignment suited to a commercially minded finance professional with strong stakeholder engagement skills
*Need to be either immediately available or finishing a contract in the next couple of weeks
