Full job descriptionAn established and successful business is seeking an experienced interim finance professional to provide continuity within a key finance role while a permanent recruitment process is undertaken.
This is a business-critical position and requires someone who can quickly understand existing processes, maintain the integrity of reporting, and support the wider finance team through a period of transition.
The Role
Reporting into senior finance leadership, responsibilities are expected to include:
*Ownership of monthly management accounts and associated reporting
*Balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
*Cashflow forecasting and working capital management
*Budgeting and forecasting support
*VAT and statutory compliance activities
*Business partnering with operational stakeholders
*Supporting process improvements and ongoing finance projects
*Assisting with year-end and audit requirements where appropriate
The Person
We are keen to speak with experienced finance professionals who can demonstrate:
*Previous experience in a Management Accountant, Finance Manager or similar role
*The ability to operate autonomously with minimal handover
*Strong month-end and reporting experience
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*A practical, hands-on approach
*Available at short notice
