Working across festivals, public events, experiential activations and corporate productions, the Technical Production Manager will oversee everything from planning and crew coordination through to on-site delivery, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently and to the highest technical standards.


THE COMPANY


This growing live events and technical production business delivers creative and specialist production solutions across festivals, public events, experiential activations and large-scale outdoor productions throughout the UK.
With multiple specialist divisions covering technical production, event management, pyrotechnics and creative installations, the company provides a fully integrated service across lighting, audio, staging, structures, power and visual experiences.
Having experienced significant growth over the last 12 months, the business continues to secure major new projects while investing heavily in its people and leadership structure. Known for delivering technically ambitious, spectacle-led events, this is an outstanding opportunity for a Technical Production Manager looking to play a key role within a highly respected production team.


THE ROLE


This Technical Production Manager role is focused on the successful planning and delivery of live events, taking ownership of technical production from pre-event preparation through to on-site execution and project completion.
Working closely with Project Managers, the Production Director and wider operations teams, the Technical Production Manager will ensure projects are fully resourced, safely delivered and executed to the highest standards while maintaining excellent client relationships throughout.


Duties as Technical Production Manager will include:


Planning technical delivery across multiple live event projects
Leading on-site builds, installations, live operation and de-rigs
Managing freelance crew, suppliers and contractors
Coordinating equipment, logistics and warehouse requirements
Supporting technical pricing, scoping and project handovers
Producing technical documentation and delivery plans
Maintaining excellent client relationships throughout delivery
Managing RAMS and ensuring Health & Safety compliance
Monitoring budgets, sub-hires and project resources
Supporting post-event reviews and continuous improvement


THE CANDIDATE


To be considered for this Technical Production Manager role, candidates must have proven experience delivering live events within a technical production environment.
You’ll have strong technical knowledge across lighting, audio, staging, structures and power, alongside experience leading crews, managing suppliers and delivering projects safely on-site. Excellent organisational skills, commercial awareness and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential.
This role would suit an experienced Technical Production Manager, Senior Technician or Production Lead looking to join a fast-growing business delivering some of the UK’s most exciting live events.
