Year 1 SEN Teacher - Mainstream Primary school
Prospero Teaching is looking for a Year 1 SEN Primary Teacher for an Ofsted "Good" Primary school in West London.
The school is a popular three-form entry mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff.
The position is open to both NQT’s and experienced teachers. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
*Location - West London
*Position - Year 1 SEN Teacher
*Type of work - Class Teacher - Working with a group of 7 or 8 children in our Year 1 group who all have significant high levels of SEND needs - in the main, speech and language and social communication, and are working at a very low level. They need a high level of support to be able to function in a mainstream environment.
*Contract or position start date - 01/09/2026
*Duration / Likely Duration - Full academic year
*Contract or position end date - July 2027
*Contract type - Temporary
*Full time/part time - Full time
*Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £206.75 - £268.20 per day
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
*QTS or equivalent
*Minimum 1 year SEN / teaching experience in the UK
*Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
*Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
