Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools Wigan

About the RoleVeritas Education are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in the Wigan area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in education, or for those seeking flexible work supporting local schools.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
*Deliver pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the classroom teacher
*Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a focused learning environment
*Support students across KS3 and KS4
*Ensure work is completed and provide feedback to teaching staff
Ideal CandidateWe’re looking for confident and adaptable individuals who:
*Have experience working with young people (schools, coaching, youth work, etc.)
*Possess strong behaviour management skills
*Are confident leading a classroom independently
*Are reliable, flexible and professional
*Hold (or are willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
This role is perfect for:*Graduates considering a career in teaching
