Job Description:
Full job descriptionSales Director - Profit Centre Lead. £70,000 basic + Significant Guarantee | £130,000+ package | Profit Share, Executive Company Car | Bupa | 6% Pension, Milton Keynes. As General Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for turnover, margin, operating costs and long-term growth strategy. This is full P&L ownership of a £9m+ standalone profit centre within a £1bn+ group.
Operating within a decentralised, entrepreneurial structure, you will have genuine authority to:
*Set and deliver growth strategy
*Own and drive the P&L
*Accelerate B2B sales performance
*Strengthen global supplier relationships
*Build and develop a high-performing team
*Optimise operations and governance
This is leadership with teeth - autonomy, commercial freedom, and a direct link between performance and reward.
What Success Looks Like
*Year-on-year growth in turnover and margin
*Delivery against forecast commitments
*Strong supplier partnerships
*Increased B2B market share
*Operational excellence (OTIF, stock, service)
*A driven, accountable leadership team

You’re commercially sharp and ownership-led.
You likely bring:
*Proven experience owning and growing a P&L
*Strong B2B commercial leadership background
*Strategic thinking with operational grip
*Supplier negotiation experience at a senior level
*Track record of driving margin and revenue growth
*Experience leading and developing teams
