We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to join a dynamic HR Advisory team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will be responsible for delivering expert HR advisory support to managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle while leading a high-performing team to provide a consistent and high-quality HR service.
Working closely with HR Business Partners and senior stakeholders, you will act as a subject matter expert across employee relations, policy development, and people processes in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
This role includes direct line management responsibility for a team of HR professionals and offers an opportunity to influence people strategy and support business-wide change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities *Lead and manage a team of HR Advisors, providing coaching, support, and escalation management
*Act as the escalation point for complex employee relations matters and HR queries
*Review and enhance HR policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance and efficiency
*Support the delivery of training and people-focused initiatives aligned to business objectives
*Analyse and interpret HR data to support decision-making and organisational change
*Partner with HR Business Partners on complex employee relations cases and internal investigations
*Build strong relationships with stakeholders to deliver an effective and customer-focused HR service
*Ensure ongoing compliance with employment legislation and best practice
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
*Proven experience leading and developing HR teams
*Strong knowledge of UK employment law and practical application within regulated or professional services environments
*Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
*Strong analytical capability with attention to detail
*Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
*Advanced proficiency across Microsoft Office applications and HR systems
