Eames are currently partnered with a leading global insurer to hire a Senior Commercial Property Underwriter into a high-performing and well-established London Market team.

This is a standout opportunity for an experienced Property underwriter who enjoys trading, building broker relationships and driving both new business and portfolio growth within the middle market space.

The Role *Underwrite and grow a portfolio of Commercial Property business across the UK
*Drive new business activity while maintaining a strong and profitable renewal book
*Build and manage a pipeline through proactive broker and market engagement
*Quote, negotiate and convert business in line with appetite and targets
*Work closely with distribution, risk engineering and wider underwriting teams
*Deliver a high level of service and responsiveness to broker partners
About You *Minimum 5 years’ experience within Property underwriting
*Strong track record of new business development and trading
*Experience within the middle market segment
*Confident operating with underwriting authority
*Commercially astute, decisive and relationship-driven
*Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally
