Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cleaner to join our team for 4 hours per week. (Ideally Mondays 5am-9am or Fridays 3pm-7pm- but negotiable)
Our office is located S35 2PY, please ensure you can get here before applying.
This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across our office premise. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning environments. This position offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time work and the opportunity to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike.
Responsibilities
*Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
*Clean and sanitise washrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to high standards
*Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
*Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
*Use specialised cleaning equipment safely and effectively
*Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
*Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
*Maintain a professional appearance and attitude when interacting with clients and colleagues
Experience
*Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
*Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
*Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
*Strong organisational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail
*Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to scheduled shifts
