Hours: Saturday: 10:00am – 3:30pm &Sunday: 8:30am – 3:30pm
About the Role
We’re looking for a friendly, skilled Barista to join our small and welcoming team at Coffee in the Copse in Westcott.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a relaxed, community-focused café environment and takes pride in serving great coffee with genuine warmth and care.
You’ll be the face of the café on weekends, helping to create a positive, memorable experience for every customer who walks through the door.
We’re looking for someone who:
*Has barista experience working with a commercial espresso machine
*Genuinely enjoys connecting with people and creating a welcoming atmosphere
*Delivers warm, friendly, and consistent customer service
*Has a positive attitude and takes pride in their work
*Is reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
*Brings a natural passion for hospitality and great coffee
Key Responsibilities
*Preparing high-quality coffee and hot drinks to a consistent standard
*Operating a commercial espresso machine confidently and efficiently
*Serving customers with a friendly, welcoming approach
*Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-presented work area
*Handling payments and basic café service duties
*Supporting the smooth running of weekend service
