The Opportunity in Wigan
Join our critical Can Making Department in the Wigan area. This Team Leader role is essential to our success, responsible for translating the "Heinz Ways" into daily operational reality. You will be a key driver in fostering a high-performance culture through effective people management and process control.
Hourly Wage: £20.31 | Full-Time | Reports to: Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities
As Team Leader, you will be on the floor leading and supporting a team of Production Operators to achieve consistent results in:
*Leadership and Team Management: Nurturing, coaching, and managing your team’s development and performance.
*Performance Management: Consistently achieving production, safety, and quality targets (KPIs).
*Operational Excellence: Implementing rigorous process control and continuous improvement initiatives.
*Quality and Compliance: Upholding the highest standards in product quality and regulatory compliance.
What We Require
Essential Skills & Experience
*Proven Leadership Experience in a dynamic manufacturing or production environment.
*Strong Interpersonal Skills with the ability to communicate, motivate, and manage diverse teams effectively.
*Solid Knowledge of Production KPIs and experience in driving improvements against them.
*A Flexible Approach to Problem Solving and a commitment to challenging the status quo.
