Full job descriptionA respected and expanding firm is seeking an experienced Employment Law Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join their growing team in Chelmsford. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, commercially minded solicitor who enjoys a mix of claimant and respondent work and wants to play a key role in developing a thriving department. The RoleYou’ll handle a varied and stimulating caseload, advising both individuals and businesses across the full spectrum of employment law. Your work will include:
*Advising individuals on complex employment issues and achieving the best possible outcomes
*Managing matters such as unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, whistleblowing and contractual disputes
*Drafting and negotiating Settlement Agreements
*Supporting employer clients (from start-ups to established SMEs) with day-to-day HR and employment law queries
*Drafting and reviewing contracts, handbooks and policies
*Providing clear, practical advice in plain English
*Attending networking events, building relationships and helping grow the department
*Writing articles, contributing to marketing content and representing the firm at business events
This is a client-facing role where your communication skills, commercial awareness and legal expertise will shine.

About YouTo be considered, you will need:
*3+ years PQE as an Employment Solicitor
*Strong technical knowledge of employment law
