Job Description:
Full job descriptionOur client, based in London, is currently recruiting for a Democratic Services Officer on a 3-month temporary contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
*Attending committee meetings, taking notes, minute taking and agenda logs
*Managing meeting calendars and scheduling across multiple senior stakeholders, keeping governance deadlines on track and reducing clashes
*Handled sensitive and confidential information appropriately, due to the team being a part of a wider council partnership
*Managing report preparation and governance quality checks, ensuring papers were clear, accurate, complete and ready for circulation or publication
Skills and Experience required:
*Experience required in Local Government
