Are you an experienced Acoustic Consultant with a background in environmental and/or building acoustics? Looking for an opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects within a globally recognised engineering consultancy? This could be the role for you!
The Role
As a Senior Acoustic Consultant, you’ll play a key role in delivering acoustic, noise and vibration assessments across a variety of building, infrastructure and environmental projects. You’ll be responsible for managing projects from initial scope through to delivery, undertaking technical assessments, developing mitigation strategies and producing high-quality reports, whilst building strong relationships with clients and mentoring junior team members.

What’s Required?
The ideal candidate for the Senior Acoustic Consultant role will have the following:
*Strong experience within environmental acoustics, building acoustics or a combination of both
*Academic background in Acoustics, Engineering, Environmental Science or similar
*Experience carrying out noise and vibration assessments, surveys and acoustic design projects
*Strong knowledge of UK noise regulations, modelling techniques and industry best practice
*Experience using acoustic modelling software such as SoundPLAN, CadnaA, NoiseMap, Odeon or similar tools
*Membership of the Institute of Acoustics (MIOA/FIOA), or working towards it
