Full job descriptionBehaviour Support Teaching Assistant - Tower Hamlets - Secondary School - £95-£115 a day (depending on experience) - Full Time - Immediate Start
*Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant - Previous experience supporting pupils with behavioural needs required
*Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant - Experience working in a school, PRU or alternative provision desirable
*Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant - Must be confident with behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
*Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant - Required full time ASAP
Have you previously worked as a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentor or Teaching Assistant?
Do you have experience supporting pupils with behavioural or SEMH needs?
Are you able to build positive relationships with young people and promote positive behaviour?

The Role - Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant
Seeking a resilient and proactive Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 11-16 within a secondary school setting. You will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams and the SEND department to provide targeted support for students who require additional behavioural intervention. The role involves supporting pupils in lessons, implementing behaviour strategies, promoting emotional regulation, using de-escalation techniques and helping students remain engaged with their learning. You will play a key role in maintaining a positive and structured learning environment across the school.
