Our client is at the forefront of the manufacturing and engineering sector. Sustained growth is the reason they have a new requirement for a Quality Inspector.
The Role
*Will be responsible for goods inwards inspection.
*You will ensure compliance to specification.
*Controls of non-conformance, retaining records and corrective and preventative actions.
*Manage final inspection of product.
*Will ensure quality of product in accordance with specification and standards.
*Maintaining calibration system.
*Assess for conformance to specification.
*Speak with customers and suppliers where necessary.
*Control of customer returns.
*Root cause through using 8D, cause and effect, etc.
*Maintenance of documentation.
The Person
*Experience in a similar role with in quality.
*Ability to use quality measuring tools/equipment.
*Must be organised, accurate and self-motivated.
*Engineering or manufacturing experience essential.
*Analytical thinking combined with effective communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
