Full job descriptionMachine Operator (360 Excavator & Loading Shovel) – Night Shift
Location: Leith
Contract: Long-Term Temporary
Shift: 5pm – 5am (Flexible working days)
The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to join a well-established and supportive team on a long-term temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys working as part of a strong, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
*Operating a 360 Excavator and Loading Shovel safely and efficiently
*Moving materials across site
*Feeding materials into shredding machinery
*Loading and unloading vehicles and trucks
*Maintaining high standards of health & safety at all times
*Supporting general site operations as required
Requirements
*Valid 360 Excavator Ticket (essential)
*Valid Loading Shovel Ticket (essential)
*Proven experience in a similar role within a yard or industrial environment
*Strong awareness of site safety procedures
*Reliable, flexible, and a team-oriented attitude
