Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Mechanical Fitter to assist on a short-term project. This position will involve supporting key installation and safety activities, including PVC piping, bolt work, and general compliance with site procedures.
The site is well-connected to public transport and the business will provide full PPE equipment (fireproof suit, safety glasses etc).
Key Responsibilities
*Assist with installation and fitting of PVC piping systems
*Carry out bolt work including assembly, tightening, and securing components
*Support adherence to site safety procedures and standards
*Work closely with engineers and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently
*Ensure all work is carried out safely and to required specifications
*Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Requirements
*Previous experience in mechanical fitting, piping, or assembly work
*Familiarity with boltwork and basic installation techniques
*Strong understanding or willingness to follow health & safety procedures
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team
