Salary: £35-40,000 annual salary (dependent on experience)
Location: Richmond-upon-Thames
An established architecture and design practice is seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join its team on a 3-month contract basis in their Richmond-upon-Thames studio. The successful candidate will support the delivery of a range of leisure,spa and fitness projects, producing high-quality technical drawings and construction documentation while working closely with architects, designers, consultants, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities*Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and construction packages using AutoCAD.
*Develop and coordinate technical information across all project stages.
*Assist with planning applications, building regulations submissions, and technical approvals.
*Liaise with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure design intent is maintained.
*Review and update drawing packages in line with project requirements and site conditions.
*Support project delivery from concept through to construction.
Requirements*Proven experience working as an Architectural Technician within an architectural practice.
*Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
*Excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing.
*Experience producing technical drawing packages for planning and construction.
*Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadlines.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
