Nigel Wright are delighted to be supporting a leading global professional services firm in their search for an Engagement Business Partner to join their Newcastle-based finance team.

The Role
As an Engagement Business Partner, you will act as a key finance contact, supporting senior stakeholders across a portfolio of engagements. You will play a central role in managing financial performance, providing insight, and ensuring strong commercial governance.

This role offers a blend of financial analysis, stakeholder engagement, and operational finance responsibilities within a fast-paced, high-performing environment
Key Responsibilities:
*Partnering with senior stakeholders to support decision-making
*Managing WIP, aged balances and project financials
*Supporting forecasting, revenue tracking and recovery
*Coordinating billing processes
*Analysing data to identify risks and opportunities
*Presenting financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders
*Playing a key role in financial control and governance across engagements

The Person
*2–3+ years’ experience in a finance role (AP, AR, billing, management accounts or similar)
*Strong communication skills – confident explaining financial information clearly
*Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
*Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
*Proactive, organised, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
*Studying (or interested in studying) ACCA/CIMA desirable
