Full job descriptionWe are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high standards of accuracy and customer service.
Key Responsibilities*Loading and unloading goods and supplies
*Checking deliveries for damaged or missing items
*Booking in and storing stock accurately
*Moving stock manually or using lifting equipment and forklift trucks
*Loading and unloading shipping containers
*Picking and packing multi-item customer orders
*Maintaining accurate warehouse records and paperwork
*Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe
*Communicating with customers via email and telephone
*Using WMS systems
*Ensuring all warehouse activities are carried out in accordance with Health and Safety regulations
The Ideal Candidate Will Have*Previous warehouse experience, particularly in picking and packing multi-piece orders
*Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
*Good level of spoken and written English
*A proactive and reliable approach to work
*Good attention to detail and accuracy
*The ability to work effectively as part of a team
*A good level of physical fitness, as the role involves regular lifting and manual handling
*A valid FLT licence is desirable
