Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are seeking a caring, patient, and dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our inclusive school community.
In this rewarding role, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and reach their full potential. You’ll work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to create a positive and structured learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
* Assist in delivering tailored learning activities
* Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and social skills
* Help implement individual education plans (EHCPs)
* Encourage independence, inclusion, and positive behaviour
We are looking for someone who is:
* Patient, empathetic, and resilient
* Passionate about supporting children with additional needs
* A strong communicator and team player
* Experienced in education or care (preferred but not essential)
