Full job description We are seeking a Solicitor Solicitor to join a high-performing in-house Legal team, supporting UK-based entities. This role is suited to individuals with approximately 3 - 7 PQE and is an excellent opportunity to step into a commercially focused, advisory role at the heart of a regulated business, where you will influence key strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations.

Description
*Provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice across the business
*Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, including a) Distribution agreements b) IT and outsourcing contracts c) Bespoke agreements for new projects
*Advise on regulatory matters within insurance / financial services including contributing to horizon scanning
*Ensure compliance and ongoing maintenance of legal and regulatory documentation
*Manage relationships with external legal counsel
*Assist with dispute resolution and claims handling


Profile
*Qualified Solicitor or Barrister (England & Wales) with appx. 3 - 7 years’ PQE
*Experience gained across in-house or private practice
*Background in insurance or financial services
*Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
*Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels, including senior management
