Full job descriptionHighways Communications Officer
Manchester
£32.95ph – Hybrid (3 days in the office)
Duties:
*Develop and deliver communication plans for resurfacing programmes
*Coordination with the Planned Maintenance team
*Work closely with
*Team Leader
*Engineers
*Clerk of Works
*Permit Officer
*Contractors
*Asset Team
*Gather accurate, up-to-date information on:
*Programmes
*Phasing and sequencing of works
*Material/product selection and the scenarios of when they are chosen
*Risks and delays
*Stakeholder Engagement
*Coordinate communication with key stakeholders:
*Local councillors and MPs
*TfGM Bus Team
*Emergency services
*Businesses and schools
*Public transport operators
*Provide advance briefings so stakeholders can prepare and respond to enquiries.
*Attend meetings or briefings with the highways delivery team.
