Full job descriptionFULLY REMOTE: Private Client Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive (3–6 PQE) - Up to £70,000
Remote Solicitor Position at Highly-Regarded Somerset-Based firm
A long-established and forward-thinking Somerset law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (3-6 years’ PQE) to join its growing team in a remote capacity.
An opportunity to join a respected regional practice that combines the stability of an established firm with the flexibility, autonomy, and ambition of a modern working environment.
The Role:
You will manage a varied and high-quality Private Client caseload, with a strong focus on estate administration (essential recent experience required) alongside broader advisory work.
Typical matters will include:*Wills and estate planning
*Lasting Powers of Attorney
*Inheritance Tax planning and advice
*Estate administration (including complex and taxable estates)
*Trust creation and lifetime planning
*Court of Protection and deputyship matters
*Supporting elderly and vulnerable clients
*Cross-border or foreign asset estates (desirable but not essential)

You will also demonstrate:*Strong technical knowledge of core Private Client areas
*Recent, hands-on estate administration experience (essential)
*Excellent communication and client care skills
*Ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism
A full driving licence is required, as very occasional travel to offices will be expected.
