About the Role
We are seeking a Client Pricing Specialist with experience in Air Freight or Ocean Freight Operations, including routing and pricing. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate, competitive, and commercially viable freight quotations across import, export, and cross-trade shipments.
You will work closely with Commercial, Sales, and Operations teams to support pricing strategy, customer requirements, and supplier engagement.
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare accurate and timely freight quotations for import, export, and cross-trade shipments
*Source and negotiate competitive rates with shipping lines, airlines, hauliers, and logistics partners
*Analyse freight costs, margins, and market trends to ensure commercially viable pricing strategies
*Collaborate with sales teams to support customer acquisition and retention initiatives
*Respond to client and sales enquiries regarding transportation costs, transit times, and service options
*Support submissions, RFQs (Requests for Quotation), and pricing proposals for new business opportunities
*Monitor pricing accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies and customer agreements
*Work closely with operations teams to ensure quotations reflect operational capabilities and service requirements
*Generate reports and analyse pricing performance, profitability, and market competitiveness
*Support strategic procurement initiatives and supplier relationship management
Requirements
*Experience in Air Freight or Ocean Freight Operations
*Previous exposure to pricing, quotations, or rate management within freight forwarding
*Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
*Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and suppliers
*Willingness to learn and develop within a growing business
Career Progression
