We’re on the lookout for someone who is:

*Experienced in legal cashiering or a similar finance role
*Detail-focused with a strong commercial mindset

What you’ll be doing
In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping everything running smoothly from a financial perspective. Day-to-day, you’ll:
*Handle financial transactions in line with relevant regulations
*Carry out bank reconciliations and manage client account postings
*Process payments (including BACS and transfers)
*Deal with billing, credit notes, expenses and petty cash
*Support month-end processes and reporting
*Keep records up to date using internal systems
*Record transactions using accounting software
*Deal with queries and resolve routine issues
*Prepare and submit VAT returns
What you’ll need
*At least 3 years’ experience in a legal cashier (or similar) role
*A solid understanding of accounting principles and credit control
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Ability to work independently and handle a busy workload
*Confident communication and people skills
*Good IT skills (especially Microsoft Office)
*A professional and discreet approach when handling sensitive information
