Salary: £12,000 per session
About the RoleA well-established GP Practice is seeking an enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our friendly, well-established semi-rural team in North East Aberdeenshire.
Serving a patient population of approximately 6,500 across three sites in New Pitsligo, Strichen and Maud, this role offers varied, community-centred general practice within a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking for flexibility, clinical autonomy and a sustainable work-life balance while making a meaningful difference to local communities.
What You Can Expect* Average 15-minute appointments
* Protected administrative time
* Flexible working pattern, with up to full-time sessions available
* Dedicated support staff and collaborative multidisciplinary working
* Full indemnity cover for contracted sessions
* Supportive, inclusive and experienced clinical team

Key Responsibilities* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, consultations and examinations
* Diagnose conditions and develop personalised treatment plans
* Prescribe and manage appropriate medications and clinical interventions
* Coordinate patient care with specialists and the wider multidisciplinary team
* Provide advice on health maintenance, disease prevention and self-management
* Maintain accurate, timely and compliant patient records
* Support public health initiatives and community-based care
* Contribute to a positive, collaborative practice culture
Requirements* GMC-registered GP with an MBBS qualification, or equivalent
* Experience in general practice or a comparable clinical setting
* Strong diagnostic, communication and organisational skills
* Commitment to collaborative, patient-centred care
* Interest in ongoing professional development
* Experience in elderly care is desirable, but not essential
