Full job descriptionLevel 3 Early Years Practitioner – Full Time (Term Time Only)
Start: September | Monday – Friday
We are currently working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Wigan area who are looking to appoint a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join their nursery provision from September.

Role Responsibilities:
*Support children aged 2–4 through a mix of structured and play-based learning
*Contribute to the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS
*Support early development in communication, literacy, numeracy and physical skills
*Maintain a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment
*Complete observations, assessments and progress records
*Support daily routines including settling, toileting, transitions and snack times
*Act as a key worker, monitoring and reporting on children’s progress
*Build strong, positive relationships with children, staff and families
*Provide intimate care where required (including nappy changing)
*Work closely with colleagues and external professionals to support children with SEND
*Uphold safeguarding policies and prioritise the welfare of all children
Requirements:
*Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
*Experience working within an Early Years setting
*Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
*A nurturing, proactive and team-focused approach
