Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic support professional to join our client’s unique Support Team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in helping people maintain their quality of life and independence, regardless of the potential barriers they face. Patience, kindness, and sympathy towards the difficulties individuals face are essential qualities for this role. You will facilitate their independence as much as possible and encourage their wellbeing.
Hours: Full time: Monday to Friday | 09:00 – 17:00
Contract: Temporary 3 months
Hourly rate: £18.40 (Umbrella)
Location: Fulham based
Key Responsibilities:
*Act as a keyworker, offering tailored advice and guidance to help individuals gain and maintain independence
*Support beneficiaries in sustaining their tenancy and improving their quality of life
*Create, agree and regularly review personalised support plans
*Liaise with mental health, drug and alcohol, counselling and ex-services agencies to ensure individuals receive the right support
*Provide access to benefits advice, empowering people to live independently
The ideal candidate will have:
*Experience supporting vulnerable adults and older people, ideally within homelessness, mental health, substance misuse or physical disability services
*A patient, kind and understanding approach with a genuine passion for helping others
*An Enhanced Adults and Children DBS
