Location: Hillingdon, UB10
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join a welcoming primary school in the Hillingdon (UB10) area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with caretaking or maintenance experience who takes pride in maintaining a safe and clean environment for pupils and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
*Opening and closing the school premises daily
*General maintenance and minor repairs around the school site
*Ensuring the school grounds and buildings are clean, safe, and well-maintained
*Conducting routine health & safety checks
*Managing deliveries and supporting site security
*Setting up rooms for school events or activities
*Supporting contractors and monitoring their work on-site
Requirements:
*Previous experience in a caretaker, maintenance, or facilities role (desirable)
*A proactive and hands-on approach to work
*Good understanding of health & safety procedures
*Must have a clear Enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one – we can process this for you)
*Reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
