Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are recruiting on behalf of a leading air cargo and logistics business for an ambitious External Sales Executive. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional
Key Responsibilities*Meet with new and existing customers to understand requirements and deliver tailored logistics solutions
*Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets
*Identify and secure new business opportunities through market research, networking, and prospecting
*Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements with clients
*Build, maintain, and grow strong long-term customer relationships
*Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to management
*Manage customer queries efficiently, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction
*Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote the business
*Occasional UK and international travel as required
Key kills *Previous experience in sales or business development (experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain is highly desirable)
*Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
*Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
*Commercially minded with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
*Confident in building and maintaining professional relationships
*Self-motivated, driven, and target-oriented
*Full UK driving licence is essential
